The Worldwide Car Rental application has been developed and adapted specifically for Ofran Holiday Autos, a worldwide car rental broker located in Israel as well as Czeck Republic, Hungary, Turkey, Romania and lately Russia as well.
The application handles bookings from different sources: direct entry into the database, B2B, B2C from the company's web site and mirroring from the company's gsa's in other countries and in Israel.
Bookings are generally confirmed in real-time, through a sophisticated communication gateway that handles connections with most of the worldwide suppliers.

All modules have been developed with different versions of Microsoft Visual Foxpro and make good use of state-of-the-art technologies, including XML Web Services through SOAP, socket programming, MS Office interfacing and much more...
The system connects directly to Worldspan using EDIFACT unified messaging ( from Visual Foxpro as well ), and to other suppliers either through XML links or ASCII/FTP automation.
The system generates documents and reports as TIF documents, XML, HTML, Excel and more when needed.
Faxes are sent through Zetafax Server automation, managing thousands of faxes daily during the high season.
